new la metro line opens downtown los angeles dental office

#LAMetro #ExpoLine to Santa Monica opened last weekend. For those of us who live or work in Downtown or on the city’s Westside, the opening of the LA Metro extension to the city’s Expo Line linking #DTLA with Santa Monica is a major convenience.

Connecting Downtown LA to Downtown Santa Monica in 46 minutes, the LA Metro Expo Line becomes a time- and cost-effective alternative to traffic gridlock of the I-10 freeway. LA Metro Expo Line trains will operate with 12-minute frequency for the majority of the day and 20-minute frequency after midnight.

The first phase of the LA Metro Expo Line opened in 2012 linking DTLA to Culver City. With seven new stations and 6.6 miles of rail, the second phase extends from the Expo Line Culver City station to Downtown Santa Monica, linking Westside neighborhoods and expanding the LA Metro Rail system to over 100 miles of rail.

The seven new stations serve Culver City, Bergamot Station, Santa Monica College and Downtown Santa Monica, and diverse neighborhoods in-between. The extension provides direct access to a variety of destinations, including connecting students to USC and SMC, connecting employees to businesses and media parks, connecting tourists and residents alike to galleries and museums, such as Bergamot Station, The Natural History Museum, The Science Center, MOCA and The Broad and bringing direct transit access to the Coliseum and STAPLES Center.

And for our patients who live on the Westside, River Dentistry, LA’s Most Convenient Dentist, has become even more convenient! For more information about the brand-new LA Metro Expo Line extension visit moreexpo.metro.net
