But remember that sugary treats can be pretty scary for your teeth and gums. Potential damage depends on how much sugar you consume and how long it stays on your teeth. So, make sure to brush and floss immediately after trick-or-treating (or treating yourself to your kids’ candy) as well as come to see us soon for your regular dental cleaning and exam.
As we approach the end of the year, we would like to remind you that you should take full advantage of any remaining dental insurance benefits you may have left for 2015 as they do not carry over and will expire on December 31. The way dental insurance benefits work is that you have a certain dollar amount to spend each year. If you do not use them this year, you lose them!
